Sunlit Forest Road

Our Story

Connect Restore Thrive Counseling Group was started in 2020, by our Founder and CEO Tessa Saindon. After years of working in the mental health field and witnessing the burnout many therapists experience, Tessa recognized the need for a practice that values the well-being of its staff alongside the clients they serve.

Drawing from her experience in various practices, Tessa build the foundation for Connect Restore Thrive with the focus on creating a healthier and more sustainable work-life balance for mental health professionals.

By supporting our providers, we believe they are better equipped to provide the compassionate, meaningful care that the individuals and families in our community need.

Our community deserves providers who are as supported and valued just as much as the clients they serve.

Practicing Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor in Oregon and Alaska

Specialties:

- Neurodivergence

- Perinatal Mental Health

- Integrated Nutrition

I believe that everyone deserves a space to feel heard, understood, and supported. As a therapist, clinical supervisor and the founder of Connect Restore Thrive Counseling Group, I have spent the last 12 years working with children, families and adults to navigate life's toughest seasons. My perspective isn't just clinical—it’s personal. Being a mom gives me a firsthand understanding of the beautiful, messy, and demanding reality of raising children while trying to maintain our own sense of self. My goal is to combine that lived experience with professional tools to help you reconnect with yourself and thrive in life.

I believe in supporting the entire family unit. Whether you are navigating the emotional transitions of pregnancy, helping your child under 10 work through developmental hurdles, or seeking clarity regarding neurodivergent traits, I am here to walk that path with you. I am particularly passionate about early intervention and am currently working toward providing autism diagnostic testing, ensuring that families in our community have access to the clear answers and personalized care they deserve.  I am actively pursuing advanced training to provide comprehensive autism testing and diagnostic services, aiming to bridge the gap between initial assessment and ongoing, neuro-affirming support.

Licensed Professional Counselor

practicing in Oregon

Specialties:

- Eating Disorders

- Brainspotting

- Marriage and Family Therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 40 years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate difficult experiences and move toward greater healing and well-being through every season. What continues to motivate me is the opportunity to deeply connect with each person I work with and help them move toward healing, restoration, and the life they have always desired. I believe every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and truly thrive as they continue their life journey.

I work with clients across the lifespan, from children through adults, and specialize in supporting individuals through eating disorder recovery. I prioritize meeting each person where they are and honoring their unique experiences and goals. As a focus of my work, I utilize Brainspotting to help clients process trauma and access deeper levels of healing.

Outside the office, family is my greatest joy. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Christy, for 39 wonderful years, and together we have raised four incredible children. Whether we are gathering with friends or simply sharing a good laugh, investing in relationships is what matters most to me.

When I am not working, you will often find me outdoors kayaking, cycling, or backpacking. I also have a lifelong appreciation for a great slice of pizza—and, in what may be my most unnecessary talent, I can eat a Big Mac in a single bite.

Cayce Stager

Clinical MHI

Clinical Mental Health Intern

Specialties:

- Perinatal Mental Health

- Neurodivergence

I'm a Clinical Mental Health Intern in my clinical internship year through Wake Forest University. Although I am originally from North Carolina, I have called Klamath Falls home since 2020. I specialize in perinatal mental health (prenatal and postpartum), navigating motherhood, and neurodivergence.

I utilize a grounded Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, in order to create a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can unpack major life transitions, build practical coping strategies, and cultivate genuine self-understanding.

My clinical focus is deeply informed by my own lived experience. Finding my footing as a postpartum mother and receiving a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis reshaped my self-perception, and sparked a deep passion for supporting others as they navigate their own moments of identity shift and self-discovery.

I understand firsthand how isolating these shifts can feel and I work to ensure each of my client feel validated, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as reading, baking, spoiling my animals (3 cats and 2 Golden Retrievers) and golfing.

- Adolescent Girls in the Juvenile Justice System

Born and raised in the Klamath Basin, I have dedicated over 40 years to serving our community in the medical and mental health fields, with the past 20 years focused entirely on mental health.  My experience includes 16 years in a specialized Day Treatment program supporting children who struggled in traditional classroom settings. I also helped structure and deliver specialized therapy for an Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) girls program—an initiative that has since expanded into Klamath Crimson Rose, a transitional Behavior Rehabilitation Services (BRS/OYA) program in Klamath Falls. Supporting adolescent girls in discovering their self-worth, building a strong sense of self, finding their unique voice, and cultivating supportive communities is the absolute heart of my practice. My clinical background also includes working with adult men and women, the legal system, domestic violence interventions, and specialized court-mandated programs.

My therapeutic approach is holistic: I believe that caring for the mind, body, and spirit in balanced harmony is essential for true healing and long-term well-being. Deeply rooted in our local community, I stay active in local organizations, clubs, and advocacy groups to expand mental health awareness and outreach. Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors and embracing the strength, connection, and enduring values of small-town life.

Michelle Hamm

MFT-Intern

Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

Specialties:

- Couples Therapy

- Youth on Parole

- Children & Family Therapy

My journey to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist has been shaped by a lifelong curiosity about people, relationships, and the stories we carry with us. I spent 12 years as an elementary school teacher, where I learned the importance of meeting people where they are, staying curious, and recognizing that there is often much more to someone’s story than what we see on the surface. This cultivated interest in how our families, relationships, communities, cultures, and larger systems all influence the ways we understand ourselves and the world around us.

I have a particular appreciation for what I think of as chain breakers—people who recognize patterns passed down through generations and make the courageous choice to examine them, heal, and create something different. I believe there is something powerful in discovering which parts of our stories belong to us, which were handed to us, and what we want to carry forward. This is part of what draws me to narrative therapy and its focus on understanding our stories in new ways.

At heart, I am a curious person who loves to learn. I enjoy art, dance, and discovering new things, and I believe creativity has an important place in both life and healing. I am grateful to continue my own journey of learning and self-discovery at Connect Restore Thrive as a therapist, and look forward to growing alongside the people I have the privilege to work with.

Elizabeth Bird-Florvilus

QMHA-R

Qualified Mental Health Associate

practicing in Oregon

Hi there, my name is Elizabeth. I am originally from Texas and have been a certified Qualified Mental Health Associate in Oregon since June 2024. My background includes 15 years of work with international nonprofits and faith based ministries with experience in Haiti, Israel, and the US. Fun fact: I lived and worked in Haiti for 4.5 years as the only English speaker among 40+ Haitian staff members, and I speak Haitian Creole. I received a Masters of International Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University in 2014, and now enjoy living in the Klamath Basin where we have ampil agriculture in our community.

Although I've worn many hats in my career, my passion has always been empowering others to reach their goals and create the change they want to make in their lives. I mainly work with teens and adults, supporting our clients with care coordination, access to local resources, life skills, coping skills, grounding skills for anxiety and depression, etc. My role as a QMHA is quite flexible, allowing me to support clients in unique and diverse ways, which makes my job both enjoyable and rewarding. And while I enjoy having fun with my clients, I also love seeing results. I coordinate with therapists to equip our clients in developing the skills they need to reach their therapy goals.

Originally from Haiti, I have been working with children since 2012 and have developed a deep passion for helping young people grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

My experience includes mentorship, behavioral health support, youth development, social and independent living skills, emotional regulation, and community-based skill building. Through this work, I have learned the importance of meeting each child where they are, recognizing their individual strengths, and building meaningful and trusting relationships.

I am especially passionate about working with children and creating opportunities for them to learn while having positive and meaningful experiences. I enjoy helping children strengthen their communication, independence, confidence, and social skills while providing encouragement and consistent support along the way.

I value family, community, and meaningful relationships. Outside of work, what I enjoy most is spending quality time with my family. My passion for children and families continues to inspire my work and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of the young people he serves.

Erin McLaughlin

Billing Supervisor

Hi, my name is Erin. I'm Connect Restore Thrive's Billing Supervisor. I was born and raised in Springfield, OR and despite moving to Washington for 7 1/2 years as a young adult, I'm happy to now call Klamath Falls my home. While living in the Seattle area I got my dental assisting certification and was a dental assistant for 10 years before I decided that was not my path anymore.

I took the knowledge that I learned in the dental field and applied it to my position as an Intake Coordinator at CRT. I have worked for CRT for several years now and have worked my way up to Billing Supervisor. I love what I do and I love helping clients with their financial needs.

On my off time I love to spend time with my family and do a little traveling. I have been married to my husband, Scott, for over 10 years and was blessed with two amazing kids. I often spend time at our family's vacation property playing cornhole, cribbage, and riding quads with our family.

Kelly Dolce

Administrative Assistant

I'm the friendly face you see when you walk through the doors of Connect Restore Thrive. I love helping others and am blessed to be working with our therapists to bring mental health services to our community. While you'll often spot me behind my computer, much of my work happens behind the scenes through grant writing, research, and helping bring projects to life. I enjoy getting to be creative and finding fun solutions to problems and exciting ways to support the things we do.

I've lived most of my life in Klamath Falls, but I like to travel when I can. As an avid lover of Jellyfish, I love visiting the coast.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm happiest when I have a chance to be creative or get lost in a good story. I spend much of my free time drawing, playing games with friends, or just watching anime. I also love spending time with my nieces, nephews, and godchildren. I'm always happy to find an excuse to try something new or lose myself in a new creative project.

Brody Saindon

Operational Manager

Originally from Alaska, I moved to Oregon with my wife, our CEO, Tessa. I spent years supporting her from the sidelines, before joining the Connect Restore Thrive Team as Operational Manager.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, and apply that knowledge to the work I do for CRT. I spend most of my workday behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Outside the office I spend my time with my family, or outdoors. I love to fish, and if I could work from the Lake I would.
