Edie Hernandez Putt, MA, LPC
Edie Hernandez Putt is a licensed bilingual (Spanish & English) psychotherapist.
She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Edie has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology,
a Master’s degree in Counseling, and she is currently working on a doctorate degree
in Clinical Psychology.
Edie brings much experience to the CRT team. She has done
extensive work with children, adolescents, and adults of the North Texas community.
Edie has practical knowledge in dealing with issues of domestic violence (victim,
children, and perpetrators), culture, sexism, ageism, substance abuse (adult and
adolescents), crisis intervention, youth delinquency, relationship, adjustment,
grief and loss, and divorce.
Edie specializes in individual, marriage, couple, and
family counseling. Her counseling procedures consist of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused,
and brief counseling.
She firmly believes in the potential of each individual for
personal betterment and growth. Edie values spending time with her family, reading
to her son, the Texas State Fair, and the myriad of cultural events Big “D” has to offer.
